Abstract: This study examines the impact of peer mentorship on adult learning outcomes, exploring how peer-to-peer support influences learning effectiveness and personal development among adult learners. The objectives were to assess the benefits of peer mentorship in adult education, to identify the key elements of successful mentorship programs, and to evaluate the challenges faced in implementing peer mentorship. A survey research design was utilized to gather data from participants in peer mentorship programs, allowing for detailed insights into their experiences. A sample size of 280 adult learners was selected to provide a comprehensive analysis. The purposive sampling technique was used to target individuals engaged in peer mentorship. The case study was conducted in Rivers, Nigeria, where peer mentorship is increasingly incorporated into adult education programs. Findings indicated that peer mentorship significantly enhanced learning outcomes, with participants reporting increased motivation, better understanding of course material, and improved personal development. However, challenges such as finding suitable mentors and maintaining consistent engagement were noted. The study recommended expanding peer mentorship programs and providing training for mentors to ensure effective support for adult learners.
